Hamburger Akademievorträge

With the series "Hamburger Akademievorträge" (Hamburg Academy Lectures), the Akademie der Wissenschaften (Academy of Sciences) in Hamburg offers a wide-ranging publication platform accessible in open access. It documents lecture series and individual lectures from the diverse Academy activities which are dedicated to the entire spectrum of topics in Science and Research in the Humanities and Social Sciences, the Natural and Life sciences, and the Technical sciences.

The Academy of Sciences in Hamburg is made up of outstanding scientists from all disciplines from the northern German region. It helps to intensify cooperation between subjects, scientific universities and other scientific institutions and to promote dialogue between science and the public. The basic equipment of the Academy is financed by the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg.
