Hamburger Historische Forschungen

8 Titles

The series "Hamburger Historische Forschungen" (Hamburg Historical Research) comprises contributions on Hamburg and German history, primarily of recent times. It is particularly open to outstanding young scholars whose works would otherwise often remain unpublished. The common point of reference for all publications is Hamburg, i.e. the works were written at a Hamburg university or deal with the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg in the past or present. The series creates a forum for previously unexplored topics. At the same time, the "Hamburger Historische Forschungen" are not committed to a single concept, but offer space for the diversity of theoretical and methodological concepts to present history in a scientifically sound way, but at the same time understandable for all those interested in history.
The editor of the series is Prof. Dr. Dr. Rainer Hering.
