About the Press

Hamburg University Press is the Open Access publishing service of the Hamburg State and University Library Carl von Ossietzky (SUB Hamburg).

Hamburg University Press publishes books by Hamburg researchers and scholars and other academic and academic-related institutions. The books are published freely available digitally as well as simultaneously as high-quality print copies. In addition, journal hosting is offered for scientific Diamond Open Access journals (without APC = article charges).

Hamburg University Press supports Open Access, that is free access to scientific literature and materials in ordert o support Open Science.
